I have been in the field for over a decade treating adolescents, adults, couples and families. I became a Marriage and Family Therapist because of my belief that to treat the problem, whatever the problem may be, it requires a look at the whole person and all the various systems involved.
I am trained in various modalities though my work is closely aligned with the agreements held within Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I became a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Clinician™ in 2022. In DBT we agree that while we may not have caused our own problems, we have to solve them nonetheless. I am here to help you get there.
I am an active clinician and strengths focused provider who works with my clients to solve the problems they are seeking to change. I validate what’s valid, while offering support and guidance along the way.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my husband and two young daughters. I moved to NC from WA for my husband to attend graduate school in 2018. I am a Pacific Northwesterner at heart though have found to love the Carolina beaches and our wonderful community in Durham.
